The Coasters are a Rhythm and Blues rock and roll vocal group that had a string of hits in the late 1950s. Beginning with "Searchin" and "Young Blood". The Drifters were a long-lived American doo wop R&B vocal group with a peak in popularity from 1953 to 1962. They hit the charts with "Under The Boardwalk". The Platters re-released "Only You" in the summer of 1955, it became the group's first Top Ten hit on the pop charts, and topped the R&B charts for seven weeks. The follow-up, "The Great Pretender", with lyrics written in the washroom of the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas, exceeded the success of their debut.

This album produced three singles ("Yee Haw", "Startin' with Me" and "Something About a Woman"), all of which reached Top 20 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. Owen's fourth official single, "Don't Think I Can't Love You", is going to be released in August 2008. It will serve as the first single from his upcoming second album.
